GroupTime is a lightweight scheduling tool. We respect your privacy and collect the absolute minimum data needed to make the app work.

Data we collect

Participant names (you choose what to enter), availability times you mark, and optional room passwords (stored as salted SHA-256 hashes — we never see the plaintext).

How we use it

Solely to display scheduling information within the room you created or joined. Nothing else.

Storage and security

Data is stored in PostgreSQL on our server and served exclusively over HTTPS. We do not use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.

Third parties

We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. The only external service is Cloudflare (CDN/DDoS protection), which may process connection metadata under its own privacy policy.

Data retention

Rooms and all associated data expire after 30 days of inactivity and are permanently deleted.

Children

GroupTime is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
